Appendix D

A. Bergeron

CUPW has learned that the Corporation is violating sub-paragraphs 7.1 (b) and 7.2 (d) (ii) of Appendix “D” of the collective agreement by refusing to pay 2.3 ¢ for each piece of householder mail on a compressed delivery schedule, and, more specifically, for all householders intended for same-day delivery.

CUPW asks that it be recognized and affirmed that under sub-paragraph 7.2 (d) (ii) of Appendix “D” of the collective agreement, letter carriers are entitled to the payment of 2.3 ¢ [in addition to the payment already provided in sub-paragraphs 7.2 d) i) or iii)] for any piece of householder delivered on the same day when all or part of the householders for that day require a compressed delivery schedule. CUPW further requests that this 2.3 ¢ rate, plus interest accumulated since the deadline, be paid retroactively to all letter carriers who are entitled to it. CUPW reserves the right to request any additional corrective action.
