CUPW endorses Sister Micki McCune for Representative of All Active Members – Canada Post Pension Plan

Micki McCuneThe National Executive Board of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers has endorsed Sister Micki McCune to be the Representative of All Active Members of the Canada Post Pension Plan.

Sister McCune has held this position for two terms.  She has done an excellent job on the Pension Advisory Council, voicing member concerns about the Canada Post Pension Plan.

The voting period is July 16th to Aug. 13th, 2009.

 

Who Is Micki McCune?

Micki McCune is a long time CUPW member who currently works as a MAM 11 in Group 3 in Vancouver.  She is the former Secretary-Treasurer of the Vancouver Local, and is currently on the National Board of Trustees.

 

What is Sister Micki McCune’s experience?

Sister McCune has:

  • taken courses by numerous groups including the shareholder association for research and education on different aspects of pensions;
  • has developed and given numerous courses to CUPW members on the Canada Post Pension Plan;
  • continued to assist members with their pension issues;
  • made a continuous effort to keep updated on  issues affecting our pension plan.
