Dear Mr. Cannon:

Re: Government's Review of Canada Post

I am writing further to my letter dated May 23rd to ask about the review of the financial and policy framework that the government uses for Canada Post. CUPW would like to know more about this review. What exactly has the government been reviewing? Would it be possible to see reports that have been produced in connection with this review? When will the public, postal unions and other major stakeholders have an opportunity to have input into this review?

The union would like to discuss this matter, which has implications for the direction and future of our public post office. I would like to request an answer to the above questions and a meeting with you.

Thank you for your attention to this matter

Yours truly,
