RE: Changing to Bidding Dates

At a recent meeting held between the Union and the employer, the parties have agreed to postpone bidding for the following:

1- Annual bidding under clause 13.26.

2- Bidding for annual leave.

3- Bidding under Articles 46 and 47 when a restructure occurs in the cities of:

• • Saint John, NB
  • Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
  • Rosemère
  • Beaconsfield
  • Edmonton 3 Prairie West
  • Fort Frances Main Prairie East (Northern Ontario)
  • Terrace Main, BC
  • Trail, BC
  • Thornhill GTA
  • Richmond Hill 20 GTA

The following offices have already completed their bidding, which cannot be redone:

• • Halifax, N.S.
  • Kamloops, BC
  • Prince Georges A, BC
  • Prince Georges B, BC
  • Leamington

Except as noted above, bidding dates for the above have all been postponed to allow for the new seniority rules to take effect and ensure workers can use their new seniority date.

The new seniority rules for regular employees will be implemented on December 7, 2007.
