The Appendix “AA” Working Committee held meetings with Canada Post representatives in November and December 2007 to begin discussions about the Letter Carrier Cart Study agreed to by the parties in the current Collective Agreement.

This study is “aimed at identifying the most suitable carts for letter carriers with a view to minimizing health and safety concerns, while addressing cost and security concerns”.

We are seeking input from letter carriers across Canada and Quebec.  (Bulletin #2005-08-302 October 25 2007).

So, if you:

• Use the current CPC issued cart (C46);
• Use and/or have photos of another type of cart;
• Have ideas/suggestions/comments about the type of cart you would like to use;
• Are willing to volunteer and test versions of new or existing carts and provide feedback.
