New Seniority Rules – Annual Leave (Metro-Toronto Region)

March 12, 2008  -  11:30

Collective Agreement / Bulletin

2005-2008/379

Further to members’ new seniority date, I would like to emphasize the point 3 of Article “MM” of the urban collective agreement which is as followed:

For absolute certainty, the new seniority rules have no impact on clause 11.01 and the definition or calculation of continuous  employment or continuous service under that clause, or:

  1. Employee Termination Benefit calculations or related challenges;
  2. pensionable service calculations or eligibility;
  3. annual leave calculations or entitlements.

In solidarity,

Jean-Claude Girard
National Union Representative - Grievances (French) (1999-2011)

Diane Tanguay
National Union Representative - Grievances (English) (2001-2011)
