Health and Safety Representative Election Process Finally Begun

August 9, 2010  -  09:49

Health and Safety / Bulletin

2008-2011/292

CUPW is happy to be able to finally announce that the process for electing Health and Safety representatives is underway.

In fact, elections will be held in the coming weeks across the country in 179 offices with fewer than 20 employees where CUPW and CPAA members work.

Regional offices will be responsible for coordinating the election process. CUPW members will finally be getting a duly elected representative who can guide and assist them with the health and safety issues they face in the workplace.

If you have questions about the election process, contact your CUPW regional office.

In solidarity,

Serge Champoux
National Union Representative - Health and Safety
