We have no authority over our brothers and sisters and we experience the same realities. Our objective is the members' well-being. Assistance and the heart is what bring us together.
ASSISTANCE IS VOLUNTARY
The Union forces no one to obtain assistance, to use the program or an outside resource. It only gets involved if the member feels ready to get out of a situation or be listened to. This does not preclude confrontation to help the person take charge of their life (in an effort to increase awareness, but without judging).
CONFIDENTIALITY
This is our golden rule. Without it, the network cannot exist. A sister or brother experiencing a problem is definitely not interested in having it spread all over the workfloor. This is a question of respect.
