CUPW to conduct non-violent civil disobedience to obtain post office plans
What: Civil disobedience action (possible arrests) and colourful support demonstration, music, puppets, speeches.
CUPW and supporters trained in non-violent civil disobedience will try to enter and search Canada Post
headquarters for planning documents relating to the corporation’s plans for our public post office. The
action is part of CUPW's Operation Transparency campaign and follows an ultimatum delivered to Canada Post
last March to release the strategic planning documents or face a search.
