The Vancouver Local launched a campaign called “We deliver Canada”. There is a website www.wedelivercanada.ca, as well as a Facebook group, which has well over 650 likes in less than a week. It is an initiative explaining that we deliver more than just mail. It talks about problems with the cuts, posts articles pertaining to us, and videos with postal workers speaking to the public. One video shows a member on her route, explaining the impact the cuts will have on customers as well as posties. This is a great idea, one that we should share and expand on in other locals across the country.
