Tuesday April 21 2020

During this COVID-19 pandemic, we are continuing to work on the issues related to the National Grievance number N00-10-00001. We are also virtually meeting with CPC to resolve the grievances associated with this National Grievance.

In reviewing the payments CPC issued on April 2, 2020 (Pay Period 7) to affected members who have not been paid for bereavement, marriage leave and vacation entitlement, we noticed that approximately sixty eligible members were not paid. (Please refer to Bulletin #100, released on March 25, 2020, for information regarding this payment.)

When we inquired about this discrepancy to CPC, they informed us that an error occurred while processing some payments for eligible members. Therefore, CPC will be making another payment on May 14, 2020 (Pay Period 10) to the eligible members that were not paid.

Please review your pay stub which should include the National Policy Grievance (NPG) number N00-10-00001.

If you believe that you have been improperly paid or not paid, please contact AccessHR by phone at 1-877-807-9090 or by email, accesshr@canadapost.ca

You can also contact the following National Union Representatives for Grievances by phone at 613-236-7238 or by email.

In order for us to review your claim accurately, we will require all the pertinent documents (leave forms, certificates, etc.), if these documents were not originally included in an individual or group grievance. We want to ensure that all members who are entitled to payments receive them. We thank you for your patience as this is a long and detailed process.

We hope that you and your families are well and are staying safe.

The struggle continues!

 In solidarity,

Joanne Gomercich
